It was winter dusk accompanied by the wailing of the clouds…
The cold was bitter,
so hard it sent shivers…
Every flesh was yearning for flame,
But I was there, sitting in a corner,
with earbuds for isolation,
Looking among the precarious face,
Someone to relate to,
Someone to blame…

I felt claustrophobic, cornered…
like a prey hunted for life,
With solitude sinking in, I had nowhere to hide…
I realized,
There were smokes of breath rising with the terror of rains,
Added lightning frightened my insides to change…
I got the same feel that lingers hideously inside,
at times brings down the pains,
from a slumber in the cold,
The darkness in the blanket, the cries the eyes behold.
Tinkering, meddling with threads of time,
Like the water boiling with lime…
No one seems to be at bay,
The serene nights with flavors of decay…

It happens sometimes…
That something…it just comes and goes.
But the feeling stays secure with me,
Each time creating a terrifying show…
