All Elite Wrestling (AEW) had their very first Live Pay-Per-View, Double or Nothing today. Being a Sports Entertainment Fan, I was quite curious about how would the show go down. I mean its quite rare when people are so excited to watch an Event Hosted by a Non-WWE Promotion.

Unfortunately, AEW is still not available to watch in India so I had to stick to Youtube and Instagram for updates and was able to watch only three matches which were Cody v/s Dustin Rhodes, The Young Bucks v/s The Lucha Brothers and Chris Jericho v/s Kenny Omega. As I’ve said previously, I’m not a critic but just a Fan and that’s how I wanted to write about how overwhelmed I felt by just watching three matches from AEW.

Be it our personal or Professional Lives, we always try to create an impactful first impression and that’s what the Talents at AEW did. Each and every person gave in everything they had to make sure that their product is as impactful as it could be and they succeeded at it. They established themselves as competition to WWE in every way possible. Cody even went a step ahead and took a shot at them by breaking a throne what looked like Triple H‘s Symbol with a Sledgehammer which was made famous by The Game Himself.

To be honest, I was pretty shocked when I watched the Brother v/s Brother match between Cody and Dustin Rhodes. I have never seen Dustin Rhodes perform so well in a match. The match had every bit of storyline that they have been carrying all these days. Even though Cody won the Match like always Dustin won everyone’s heart. The moment the brothers hugged out post-match was heart melting. I’m just wondering how proud would be Dusty Rhodes right now looking at his kids work such a great match which got tears to the eyes of not only the audiences but also the ring announcers and the commentators.

Its been quite a while since I’ve seen such an awesome athleticism displayed by a tag team in a Match like the Young Bucks and the Lucha Brothers did. The high flying moves by both the tag teams were a visual pleasure for the audiences. I don’t know about how others felt about it but this has been one of the best tag team matches I’ve seen so far in 2019.

They made the perfect main event between Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega. Both the men had an awesome entrance and the way they went into the match made it look like a War. Chris Jericho won the bout but it was someone else who had the last laugh. It was none other than Jon Moxley, the former Dean Ambrose from WWE emerged from the crowd and attacked Jericho, the referee and then went head to head with Kenny Omega all over the arena till he deliverer a Dirty Deeds on top of the Stage and then tossed him down threw it.

Jon Moxley’s appearance in AEW was not only a shock for the audience but also it was a clear message to the WWE and Vince McMahon that “If you’re not going to take care of your talents then we will!”

I’m still short of words when I talk about how awesome the whole damn show would have been and how unlucky I am to be able to watch just three matches. I can’t wait for them to air AEW in India and for their next pay-per-view.
